Police apprehended 24-year-old James E. Holmes moments after he unloaded four weapons during the sold out midnight screening of Batman: “The Dark Knight Rises.” Holmes entered the theater wearing protective gear, armed with tear-gas, smoke bombs, and plenty of ammunition. Twelve people were killed, 59 others were injured.
Holmes had no prior criminal record and was a graduate student at a nearby university. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday…
