2012 Golden Globe Awards

I skipped the Golden Globe awards last night. BUT, that doesn’t mean I didn’t catch a glimpse of last night’s red carpet! Here are a few of my faves…
Salma Hayek resembled a Greek goddess in Gucci… AMAZING!!!
BEST: SALMA HAYEK - Presented Salma Hayek channeled her inner goddess in a sexy metallic Gucci number.
BEST: MARIA MENOUNOS - Not many woman can pull off a skin-tight, sparkly yellow frock - but Maria Menounos isn't most women.   BEST: JESSICA CHASTAIN - 'The Help' actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work, is a vision in white Givenchy couture decorated in pearls.

RED HOT: 'Glee' star Amber Riley has never looked better! The actress nails this va-va-voom gown in fire engine red.

PURPLE REIGN: Jessica Alba shows off her incredible post-baby body in a bejeweled Gucci gown.

FISHTAILS: Sofia Vergara is her usual bombshell self in a blue strapless Vera Wang mermaid gown.

BEST: UGGIE - The dog from 'The Artist' takes home the award for Best Dressed Male - hands down. Considering 'The Artist' won Best Comedy, we hope he gets a Golden Globe-shaped dog bone.

The Bad and the Ugly…

WORST: ZOOEY DESCHANEL - Unfortunately, quirky doesn't always mean chic, as exemplified by the 'New Girl' star's custom Prada, black gown covered in emerald green glass pearls.

Sarah Michelle Gellar (in Monique Lhuillier) allowed her 2 year-old daughter style her… LITERALLY!

WORST: SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR - The 'Ringer' star said her two-year-old daughter Charlotte picked out her Monique Lhuillier gown ... and we think she may not want to put her on the payroll quite yet.

Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen is now a red carpet felon!

WORST: KELLY OSBOURNE - Beam her up, Scottie! 'Fashion Police' star Kelly Osbourne looks a bit alien-like in this ill-fitting, pointy-shouldered Zac Posen dress. Wonder if she'll make the show's Worst Dressed List ...

This looks like a Project Runway disaster!

WORST: NAYA RIVERA - We would have loved the 'Glee' starlet's grey gown if it were pressed properly and didn't pucker at all the seams. Tsk, tsk!

I hate to include Madonna on this list, but… This dress is repulsive!
WORST: MADONNA - While Madonna took home the award for Best Original Song for 'Masterpiece,' from her directorial debut 'W.E.,' the icon disappointed in a cluttered Reem Acra gown. She did however, get the night's biggest laughs upon accepting her award, joking, 'If I’m still like a virgin, Ricky, then why don’t you come over here and do something about it?'
